I am so grateful for the expertise of Fernando. The quality of work by Gravity Waterproofing was extraordinary for water remediation at my home. With the recent storms I had 2 issues. 1. Water backed up from the city sewer main into my home through a drain in the garage causing a flood in an apt with tenants in my basement with 50k in damage. 2. The intensity of the storm and density of water in the soil cause seepage through my foundation wall into the basement. Fernando's team was fantastic and quickly and effectively designed a system to remediate the water for both issues. Installed a foundation trench system, backflow valve that will protect against future city sewer backup and installed a new french drain at the base of my driveway. I appreciated that they were willing to dig under an existing deck saving 1000's of dollars for me. They did all this work over 4 days at a price much better than other bids. I now feel confident that I have the right plan to withstand climate change and protect my home.

Gravity Waterproofing did a great job with replacing and improving my sewer line. It was a big job that included tearing up and replacing a cement walkway and ramp to the back deck that was on top of the broken sewer line, and also involved a great deal of manual digging because of the location of the line. They carefully inspected the sewer line before deciding a course of action and we decided to replace rather than just jetting it out, because there were a number of large cracks and rusted out sections. It's likely it had never been upgraded from the original 1949 sewer installation. It took about 2 weeks of work to complete the job, and it was during the hottest days of our Seattle summer this year. The crew worked diligently to complete the job, and they communicated about what they were doing and how they were reconfiguring things to meet current code. In the end we got a new sewer, a new wider and smoother walkway and wheelchair ramp, and a bonus pile of broken cement pieces that I was able to build two garden beds out of for the front yard. “I’ve done a ton of work with these guys over the years and the results are always fantastic. Properties in the Seattle area are frequently built into hills, making waterproofing and drainage challenging. Side sewers, perimeter drains and waterproofing - the Gravity team has gotten the job done right every single time and I’ve never had an issue, even years later. My most difficult job was a leaky concrete garage built into the side of a hill that two other companies had failed to successfully waterproof. Gravity applied one of their specialized coatings over the entire garage, which required digging around the perimeter and disassembling a rooftop deck. Not only did they fully resolve the water issues but they also put everything back together better than they found it. My wife was very impressed!” .
